Content guidelines

Last updated: 28 September 2026

The short version

Be the person other climbers are glad shares their wall.

Not welcome here

Harassment or abuse of any kind. Impersonation. Spam or fake activity. Names or content that would not be acceptable said out loud in a busy gym.

Honest logging

Log your own climbs, as they happened. A flash you did not flash outranks honest climbers forever — the logbook only means something if it is true.

Reporting

You can report a climber, a climb, a piece of written beta, or a challenge someone posted from inside the app. Reports come to us, never to the person reported, and we review every one within 48 hours.

You can also block another climber. Blocking works in both directions, so neither of you sees the other anywhere in the app.

How these rules are applied

Text that other climbers can read is checked automatically before it is posted and refused, with the reason shown, if it matches our list of slurs and abuse. That filter is the only automated tool we use; everything else is a person reading a report.

If we act against your account or your content we will tell you what we did, why, which rule it was under, whether a person or the filter decided it, and how to disagree — reply to official@dynoclub.app and a person will read it.

The catalogue is shared

Problems and gyms you add are visible to everyone who climbs there. Retiring a set is the gym creator’s call; flagging one as stale is everyone’s.
